Biography
GETAGRIP

We are GETAGRIP and we are a new streetpunk band consisting of 4 guys soon to be 5 who just want to play it and say it as it is, now that is not a lot to ask is it, "who are yah" I hear voices cry? GETAGRIP ;-)

We have all been playing in bands since the early days and this is just a little insight of who is who and what we have done.

Andy K - (England/Poland) :- possibly the best known member of the band but that's not something he would brag about, as far as he is concerned GETAGRIP are 5 guys all on an equal footing and with no pretentions at all.

Andy started his days with Demob back in 1978, with the band for only the first few years before 6 become 4 until 1981 when Demob hung up arms, taking arms up again in 2002 when they reformed and still performing to the punk rock masses.

Also a member of the ascending South West Street-punk outfit Noise Agents Andy continues to show the passion, pride and love for the scene he has for the past 11 years since he returned after a 23 year hiatus, also dabbled with such bands; Insane Society and Churchill, Andy is as enthusiastic as ever strutting his stuff out front and to coin a favourite saying from the Street Dogs "Wearing it on his sleeve".
