  From their home in Naarm, Australia, Punter have been sculpted into form by accumulated years of squat shows and guerilla gigs, long drives and endless suburbs, by boozy backyard parties, gravity-defying kickons, petty crime, shit jobs and the world's longest lockdown. The three-piece's sound, roughly speaking, combines the melodies of late 70s UK Punk and the muscular rowdiness of contemporary DIY hardcore. Their songs systematically critique the emptiness of Australian culture from the Anarchist/Anti-colonial perspectives, wading through countless examples of the deep deceit abundant throughout their country. Personal anecdotes are routinely dashed against reckless lead guitar breaks, and through all the pain, the party never stops. This July they will blaze through a series of European tour dates with all the passion, swagger and sweet sweet venom they are known for. On and off stage, this is a band fully committed to the act of Tour. Don't fucken miss 'em.
