Conflict - Tribute to Colin Jerwood (UK)
A message from James and Georgia Jerwood - 20/06/25
"We are truly humbled and so appreciative of all of the kind words and condolences since dad's passing, it really has brought us comfort in such a terrible time.
Our Dad has said on several occasions over the past few years that if anything were to ever happen to him he would want Conflict and the message to carry on.
Therefore the band will be going ahead with the already planned upcoming gigs as a lot of work goes into booking them. We wouldn't want anyone to miss out, particularly those that want to experience more of the new album. The band have previously done gigs in Dad's absence, so we know they'll give an incredible performance.
This won't be forever. There will be one final special tribute gig to dad after these have taken place, to close this chapter which will then be over to you to continue.
We understand that it will never be the same without him but we ask that you turn up and support the band as if he was still on stage as that is what dad would have wanted.
Please refer to the bands information regarding the upcoming gigs and keep your eyes peeled for information regarding the final tribute gig in months to come.
Regards James and Georgia Jerwood"

Barren? (Anarcho Punk trio - Paris)

The End of Ernie (Anarcho Crust - Belgique)
The End Of Ernie is a band been around for long and play music A combination of old (er) and young on stage, with a punk-oriented sound, an 80's version with touches of crossover and crustin' punk. The band has varied somewhat reminiscent of bands like DRI and SPERMBIRDS and many different influences, of old and new. Surprisingly catchy ? The DIY approach is an important point in the band and with songs about politics, global unjustice, darkness, etc., as also personal memes that affect many of us as human beings. They come together as a whole part.

The Eurosuite + Het Nieuwe Normaal + Pretty Much Average le 15/11/2025 à Bruxelles

Magasin 4 présente :

The Eurosuite (No Wave Post Punk Noise Rock - UK)
The Eurosuite formed in London at the tail end of 2019 featuring current and ex members of USA Nails, Plurals, Nitkowski and Mister Lizard. Sharing an ethos of "first idea, best idea" the 'suite have pinched off three LPs to date, their debut "Hot Off Depress" on A Tant Rêver Du Roi (FR) and more recently "Sorry" and "Totally Fine" on Human Worth (UK). Sitting somewhere between synth punk and no wave, The Eurosuite are a bunch of skeezy treb-o-philes who create a feral ear-splitting sound. They got those dishwasher synths with high pitched scratchy guitars, one handed drumming, and vocals that tell you stories about dilapidation, house plants, mesoAmerican architecture and Frasier. Your christian dad HATES The Eurosuite.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p9kn8I-2m9Y

Het Nieuwe Normaal (Post Grunge - Belgique)
Post-ironic, post-grunge, post-traumatic pop music hailing from a small town in West-Flanders. The band draws comparisons to contrarian acts with a pop sensibility such as The Breeders, Evil Superstars and Nirvana. Heavy, contorted riffs, driving bass and a brand of high octane drumming are alternated with hooky melodies and harmonies. A beautifully twisted backdrop for bassist and songwriter Maxime Rouquart's hyper personal blend of anecdotal poetry and apocalyptic imagery. Inspired by a zeitgeist that's increasingly paranoid, insensitive, exclusive and blind to the echoes of the past. This fall the group will release the first of two EP's with Sebastian Omerson (Slow Crush, Stake).
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCjLoITLIG1-NnrTGgK7wluA

Pretty Much Average (Post Punk - Belgique)
With their new EP "Warm Ankle", Pretty Much Average woke up already late for work, with a devastating hangover and hazy recollections of the night before. So they skip breakfast, launch into a heavy bassline coupled with a driving drumbeat rocking a cowbell. They throw in a bunch of pitch-shifting, power-chord-blasting, and semitone-craving guitars, while the frontgirl screams her lungs out at her boss or the asshole that followed her home last night.

Flasyd (Post Punk - New York)
Flasyd was quickly seen after their release, by like-minded fellow creatives such as Leatheracci's Denise Fiacco (leather-maker to icons such as Iggy Pop, The Rolling Stones, Jimi Hendrix) and Jeffrey Campbell. Their song "Brain Pain" was licensed by neo-noir indie film "27" (yet to be released) written, directed, and produced by Abigail Kollek - shot in NYC's East Village as a tribute to the area's music scene. Keep a look out for Bratt and Syd's cameo. Flasyd is presently in front of the lens for "Untethered" [working title], a feature documentary directed, filmed, and produced by Olivia Von Hesse, following the punk band, through their lives and music in the NYC and LA scene. Through Bratt, Kim, and Syd, the viewer experiences the rawness of what it is to be a woman reclaiming a man's world through song and stance. Inspired by 60s Japanese street lighting and shot on 8mm film / DV.
https://flasyd.bandcamp.com

Cry (Synth Punk - Bruxelles)
Two angry women and a rrriot man crying about everything that's wrong with this world. Just pure rage and relentless depression. Synth-punk from Brussels with a big grey cloud hanging over your head!
https://crycrycrycry.bandcamp.com

Tuesday Violence (60s organ Garage Punk - Bruxelles)
Tuesday Violence is a quirky, high-energy garage punk trio blending raw 60s vibes with a fierce modern edge. Crystal on vocals and organ, Niels on gritty guitar, and Deveney on explosive drums deliver a wild mix of fuzz, rhythm, and attitude. Their sound is raw, hypnotic, and irresistibly alive - at times dark and intense, at times playful and unpredictable. A must-see live, the band is already preparing their next album, coming in 2026.

Le Magasin 4 présente :

Wiccans (Anarcho Punk Hardcore - USA)
Formed in 2009 in Denton, Texas, Wiccans emerged as a ferocious yet hypnotic force in hardcore punk, blending the raw aggression of early Boston hardcore with the swirling, melodic mysticism of '70s psychedelic rock. Often described as what would happen if SS Decontrol and Blue Öyster Cult violently collided, the band carved out a singular niche with their wild, inventive sound. At the core of Wiccans' appeal is their ability to juxtapose insanely melodic, reverb-drenched guitar lines with tough, snarling vocals, all propelled by a relentless, driving rhythm section. Their music balances raw power and eerie catchiness, making them one of the most compelling hardcore bands of their era. Tracks like "Drug Dealer" and "Basket Case" showcase their knack for merging fist-pumping punk energy with lysergic, almost cinematic atmosphere. Though rooted in Denton's thriving DIY scene, Wiccans became closely associated with Austin's underground as their reputation grew. Their live shows were chaotic and electrifying, further cementing their status as cult favorites. With a sound that's both nostalgic and forward-thinking, Wiccans remain a benchmark for bands looking to push hardcore into stranger, more adventurous territories.
For fans of: The Spits, Rudimentary Peni, Fucked Up, and the weird crossroads where punk meets the cosmos.
https://wiccanspunk.bandcamp.com

Lotus (Hardcore Punk - Anvers)
Lotus is a Belgian hardcore punk band known for their intense sound, raw energy, and uncompromising approach to heavy music. Blending elements of metallic hardcore with mid-tempo and punk influences, the band delivers powerful, energetic tracks that reflect a sense of violent resignation toward the outside world. Renowned for their fierce live performances, DIY ethos and involvement in the Belgian hardcore scene, the band draws in audiences with their sheer intensity and the depth of their lyrical content. Whether in small underground venues or larger festival stages, LOTUS thrives on an unfiltered, raw connection with their crowd, earning their place among the genre's most respected acts.
