C'est en 2014 que le trio des 2 croates ; SINIŠA (alias Sinkesh) et sa sœur TINA KRIŠTOFIĆ + son beau-frère Pingu (Alias Stéphane) ont l'idée de co-organiser un festival "Rock&Punk" annuel, intimiste et convivial puisque les lieux choisis ne pouvaient accueillir qu'une centaine de passionnés (L'os à Moelle à Bruxelles, Le Moulin Fantôme à Tubize). Toujours avec une programmation variée et locale.

Voici la 4ème édition du "PUNK und BROLL", consacrée spécialement à notre ami, frère, etc. "SINKESH", fondateur et guitariste des SLOVENIANS, et qui nous a quitté cet été, à l'âge de 40 ans.

Les groupes invités ont été choisis en fonction de ses gouts et de ses affinités.

Cette édition est d'autant plus spéciale qu'elle se fera dans un des lieux de prédilections de Sinisha ; "le Magasin 4" et que la date choisie tombe le jour de son anniversaire ; un 6 janvier.

Un prix d'accès à 5€, une atmosphère de tarés, de la bière et de la sueur, des groupes survoltés et de la bonne humeur, voilà ce qui vous attend lors de cette édition 2018, plus que particulière !

The Fabulous Progerians are a three-piece that radiates throughout the Brussels' underground and its surroundings. This heavy and fat paving block seeks to translate youth's anxiety, agonising in unemployment and lust offered by the modern world for lack of a future.

Their influences go far back into prehistory, but it's somewhere between Punk and Sludge that the band likes to find its secret harmonies.

Known for powerful performances, they are usually joined by other musicians who widen even more the sound spectrum and universe of the band.

Think sludge, acceleration, groove, sweat, loud, party, psyche, punk, thirst!

SLOVENIANS is a punk rock garage band from Brussels, Belgium active since July 2014. It's current line up straight out of the Croatian, Swiss and Belgian punk rock hardcore skateboarding scene are bound together by their insatiable love for things that go fast, play loud and party hard!

The band's compositions are mostly inspired by Punk Rock bands like The Dead Kennedy's, The New Bomb Turks and Old School Hardcore Punk bands like Minor Threat. This with a nice touch of 60's/70's Rock 'n Roll, Blues, Surf and Garage Rock influences that definitely makes Slovenians stand out.

Their first EP "Frankie Goes To Ljubljana" was recorded in December 2014 in Studio Six from which the tracks ‘I'm Not Batman' and ‘Babysitter' can often be heard in some of the best alternative DJ sets in Brussels and underground web radio's.

After two years of discharging their energetic SloPunk' Rocking sound all around Belgium Slovenians decided it was time to return to the studio. Their first 13 tracks album is about to be released in 2016!

Frau Blücher and the drünken horses are a female fronted Punk N Roll quintet from Brussels, Belgium. The band started in 2011 from what was initially meant to be a one-time jam.

The band released three full-length albums made of original material only: "Quick & Dirty" in January 2013, "Lethal Pill Cocktail" in October 2014 and "über Fenomenal" in March 2017 (all on P.O.G.O. Records). Frau Blücher's songs are written in the vein of the 70's/80's Punk & Heavy Rock and inspired by the likes of the Ramones, L7, Motörhead, Vice Squad, Plasmatics and many others.

Frau Blücher and the drünken horses use to play around twenty gigs a year from small pubs to larger venues. Lately the band was chosen to open for The Addicts, The Lords Of Altamont, Nashville Pussy and The BellRays. The concerts of the Frau are direct, powerful, restless and highly participative!

For the record, the name of the band is taken from a character in Mel Brooks' movie "Young Frankenstein", a woman who has a strange relationship with horses

Sons of Disaster were born on the 6/6/2010 in BxHell Rock City at 6AM . . .   With 2017 marking the U.K. Subs' 40th anniversary; this legendary punk band continues to represent the true spirit of Punk Rock. Inspired by the Damned at the birth of British Punk, the now equally legendary Charlie Harper formed the Subs out of his then R&B outfit The Marauders, circa summer 1977. Starting out as The Subversives, the name was shortened to The Subs and then changed to U.K. Subs, whilst early line-ups merged their high-speed R&B sound into Punk. October 1977 saw Charlie joined by Nicky Garratt on guitar, and it was the Harper/Garratt song writing partnership that would go on to collaborate on the band's most successful record releases. Through 1977 and 1978 the band played shows all over London including the infamous Roxy punk club, building up a fiercely loyal and sizeable following. Their first 'recorded' output was on the "Farewell To The Roxy" LP. This bought them to the attention of John Peel who was obviously impressed enough to offer to finance their first single. However, City Records ended up releasing their first brilliant single, C.I.D, in September 1978. It became a huge indie number 1 hit. In 1979, they signed to Gem Records and surprised everyone by becoming one of the most consistently and visibly successful punk bands, with seven consecutive UK Top 30 hits between 1979-81 - Stranglehold, Tomorrows Girls, She's Not There, Warhead, Teenage, Party In Paris and Keep On Running. They also scored two UK top ten albums - Brand New Age and Crash Course - establishing themselves throughout the world with a heavy touring schedule that still continues to this day. Led by the indefatigable 72 years young Charlie Harper - now venerated as the godfather of UK Punk - the band has continued to improve through various line-ups and record companies. Still touring worldwide, they maintain that true spirit of punk rock continuing to inspire each subsequent generation of fans.   A lot of japanese Rock'n'roll fan's really look up to Guitar Wolf. They are Rock'n'roll heroes in existence. They are special to us like no other. They have been making a lot of legends and playing sound the impulse as always from 90s. Their music is very extreme and very loud; just like Rock'n'roll should be. Seiji's lyrics have a sense of individual humor and evoked a sense of "Galaxy" & "The Showa". The three guys cover themselves with a black leather that their sound is the same as a long time ago. They are always prusuing their style. Their perseverence had an effect on each others. Guitar Wolf has always pushed forward, beyond the boundaries of any one-dimensional rock trio. They will go on increasing Guitar wolf avid fans all over the world. Guitar Wolf were formed in 1987. Originally formed by Seiji and Billy (bass, vocals). After that, Toru has joined Guitar Wolf. Goner Records (independent label based in US, Memphis) released "Wolf Rock", Guitar Wolf's debut LP, in 1993. After that,they signed up a contract with "Matador Records" (a Representative independent label of US). In 1997, they debuted with a major label "Ki/oon Records" in Japan. And, they released "狼惑星" ("Planet of the Wolves") at the same time. Guitar Wolf has released 12 albums to this day. And they played not only Japan but also US, EU, AUS and Southern America. They work on a worldwide level. In 2005, Billy died. Almighty U.G and Hikart had joined Guter Wolf. After then, GOTZ is new member in 2018. He has become a permanent member of Guitar Wolf and now rounds out the trio which currently consist of band members Seiji (Guitar Wolf): GOTZ (Bass Wolf) and Toru (Drum Wolf).

  Greg (Daggers, The K, Necrodancer, Woods of Yore...), Mathieu (J U N G L E) and Billy Ray (Sonny's Heels, PopKatari) formed King Fu by chance at the end of 2016. Basically, they were preparing a punk set with 2 other friends to support legendary band Conflict (UK) at La Zone (Liège). This concert was finally cancelled and the trio decided to keep on rehearsing. After just three months, King Fu recorded a first mini-album at Studio 5 in Chênée with Oli Jacqmin from Face The Truth. "Cobracadabra" helped King Fu play fifteen concerts from May to August 2017 (including supports for Pile, Mannequin Pussy, Listener, CFM or Meat Wave). The band is currently writing new songs for a first proper LP.

  In 2015, after a party on the squatted field "Parkveld" near Leuven, some friends decided to have some jam-sessions together. Out of these sessions, eventually, Donder, Hel & Hagel was born. In april 2017 Bart & Hans did a try-out gig - still without a name - on the reunion-party of Villa Squattus Dei, the squatted autonomous centre (2000-2007), in Leuven. Later on Anton joined them on the bass. Anton Donder, Bart Hel and Hans Hagel played their first concert together as Donder, Hel & Hagel on 15th of September 2017 in devlovanzenma in Leuven. They've toured Europe for 20 years with other bands like: The Usual Suspects, Cop on Fire, Ulrikes Dream, Dead Man's Hill,... and now they hit the road with Donder, Hel & Hagel. The band name is a swear word from Captain Haddock, known from the Belgian Tintin comic-books. They share the love of shouting idiotic curses and swear words to idiots, including themselves. Their first youtubeclip "Joke is weer daar" got a lot of press coverage. From the local TV-network to the bigger national newspapers. The clip was recorded in July 2017 - even before their first official gig - and is about the minister of environment Joke Schauwvlieghe giving the transport-company Essers a permit to destroy a forest to build a new storage facility. A lot of action groups fought for the forest and in the end they won their case in front of the court. So for now the "Essers forest" is safe. On the 11th of november 2017 Donder, Hel & Hagel released their first - DIY home recorded - demo during the Breaking Barriers festival. It contained three songs "Joke is weer daar" , "Il faut travailler" and "De Rekening". All physical copies have been sold, but you can still download the songs on the bandcamp page of the band. All songs can be found on youtube as well. In 2018 Donder, Hel & Hagel was asked to play on the "Fiesta Partigiani" festival on the squatted field "Parkveld". As this place is special to Donder, Hel & Hagel, they decided to write a song about Parkveld and make a video clip to promote the Fiesta Partigiani and to gain publicity for the activists of "Parkveld Blijft", who have been fighting for this place for more than 20 years. Part of the field is owned by a real estate company who want to build houses for the rich, the other half is owned by the city of Leuven who want(ed) to build industrial buildings. The field was an agricultural space for hundreds of years and has a unique ecosystem. The clip "Parkveld blijft"(parkveld stays) drew attention of the local media and was covered in the newspapers.

• Moscow Death Brigade (Hip Hop Hardcore - Russie)
  Moscow Death Brigade is a techno/rap/punk band from Russia that plays "Circle Pit Hip-Hop": a unique and aggressive mix of electronic music, hardcore punk and rap, steeped in graffiti and street culture and flavored with a progressive social message against war, racism and other kinds of discrimination. In 2018 MDB played 47 shows with 30 Sold-Outs including the famous SO36 in Berlin (850 people). In the same year the band has raised 4000 EUR in support of "Sisters" a non-profit that helps victims of sexual and domestic abuse in Russia. Initially created as a DIY team back in 2008 MDB has its roots in Russian progressive social movements and graffiti underground scene. The band has played more than 150 shows and numerous festivals all over the EU, including Boomtown (UK), With Full Force (DE), Zikenstock (FR), Krach am Bach (DE), Karlsoy Fest (NO), Wilwarin (DE), Resist to Exist (DE) and others. • La Marmite (Punk Rock - Belgique)
  Le premier concert de La Marmite eut lieu en juin 2005. Duo de guitares accompagné d'une boîte à rythmes, le groupe est formé par Maxime et MiKL sur les cendres de Bibendum, rock bibitif et chaloupant. Après avoir parcouru les petites scènes obscures de Wallonie à une fréquence aléatoire au fil des ans, avec l'apparition furtive de l'un ou l'autre batteur téméraire, c'est en 2008 que La Marmite enregistre à la ferme un CD–démo de 14 titres, délicieusement DIY et bruyant, "Torche toi le cul avec ton fric". S'en suit une succession plus rapprochée de concerts dans toute la Belgique, mais aussi en France et en Suisse. Au printemps 2012 débarquent EsGibt et ses machines. Il a claviérisé dans EsGibt TRuNCHeoN (d'où son nom) et Coton Tige (début 90s), dans les Binamé (en permanence de fin 1993 au printemps 2003, et y refait des apparitions éparses depuis 2008) avant de rejoindre La Marmite pour un premier concert au Magasin 4 (Bruxelles) en mai 2012. C'est sous les auspices de cette complicité nouvelle au sein du duo Maxime–EsGibt que La Marmite reprend alors le chemin de la scène, en Belgique, en France et en Suisse, se forgeant un son plus électro–punk. Ce son s'affirmera sur les 14 titres de l'album "Le Sang Bouillant", sorti au printemps 2015 et produit par le label Aredje. R–Man (guitariste, René Binamé) rejoint alors La Marmite, désormais soudée en trio. En juin 2018 sort l'album "Travail-Famine-Patrouille", 11 chansons "de révolution, de rage et d'amour", qui confirme également le son électro-punk que la Marmite balance sur scène, allié sur disque à une production variée et soignée.
